Today I dared myself to check out the root situation on the fuchsia cuttings. Not brilliant news I’m afraid, but with a bit of luck and not too much of a following wind (don’t want them to dry out now, do I!) I should have about a 50% success rate. Not bad but could do better.

I did do better on my broad beans with a 100% germination rate and 67 peas germinated out of 69 sown, I think that’s 97.1% success. Not bad eh?

I’ve had to cover the gunnera tonight as there is a sharp frost forecast. Also need to remember to put the clocks forward by one hour, thanks to the start of British Summertime. It takes my body clock a day or two to catch up, so I expect I’ll be up early in the morning.
